Program Overview

This year’s program is a comprehensive summary of the entire cycle of a broadband network. The conference begins by reviewing current physical telecommunications technologies, and then examines application issues. The third session provides an overview of user issues such as portals and special audiences. The day concludes by examining the largest challenges for broadband users, maintenance and sustainability. The second full day ties it all together by examining the primary reason for implementing community broadband networks, their economic impact. The main part of the event concludes by highlighting the current status of provincial and federal network initiatives, with a particular emphasis on how they affect the sustainability and feasibility of CBNs.

Cost for registration is $250.00
