Smart Teams Competition
has initiated a Smart Teams Competition for high school
students. Participating students can increase their skills
in applying technologies to their own interests, while contributing
to their communities. Students may apply for an award in
the following categories:
· Social Sciences
· Arts & Humanities
· Science & Technology
· Social Services/Volunteerism
will be awarded to the best student projects in each category.
In addition, the projects will be showcased to the world
by being highlighted on the community web-portal.

to submit a project plan by October 31, 2001. All plans

by January 21, 2002. A panel of judges will review the submissions
and select the Award Recipients before the end of February.
