ThinkKingston is the Kingston Area Network's (KANnet) collaborative website promoting and supporting Kingston's web-based initiatives. This community portal connects the sites of the KANnet members, as well as any other Kingston organization that wishes to partner. It integrates the components of community websites in Kingston, allowing residents and visitors to explore Kingston through the Internet. The partner sites include:

KANnet and its partners have also developed comprehensive telecommunications plans for the region. Some of the region's completed and current projects include:

  • KANnet, with help from its community partners, has developed an electronic community calendar.
  • KEDCO and its partners have built Kingston's first online interactive business tools, which ThinkKingston is hosting.
  • ServiceOntario provides the new face of government services delivery with one-stop access to Ontario government services.
